Massage therapy can provide relief while helping you regain more functional movement.  Appointments begin with a health history intake and assessments to ensure your treatment is planned based on your individual case.

Massage Therapy

A type of hands-on therapy that utilizes techniques such as effleurage and petrissage in order to alleviate tension in the body’s soft tissues and to improve overall well-being.

Cupping

The use of plastic cups that are placed over areas of interest. A suction is created with the cup to promote blood flow to the area and alleviate tension.

Electroacupuncture

A form of acupuncture that can include electrical stimulation. When done in concert with a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan, this modality can assist with improving muscle inhibition and circulation.

Education and Exercise

Treatment is complete when the patient is educated on prevention which can include postural re-education and simple exercises to help improve joint mobility and muscle engagement.

New Patient Appointment

All new patients will have an initial assessment that includes health history review, physical assessment, and a massage treatment. Learn more about the importance of a proper intake and what to expect here.

Rehab exercises that will aid in the treatment and keep injuries at bay.

Follow-Up

For patients who have completed a New Patient Appointment. In addition to a treatment, this appointment may include assessment, strengthening exercises, and stretches as a part of a take-home program.
