Yes. To develop a safe and appropriate treatment plan, an assessment aids in understanding the nature of your visit. Past injuries, prior treatments from other health care professionals, current health status and other relevant information are taken into account so that the treatment is tailored to your needs.

An assessment can includes checking range of motion, strength tests, palpation, and so forth.

Please bring a pair of shorts and T-shirt or clothing that is easy to move in for the assessment portion of the appointment.

If it is your first visit, arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for parking and filling out forms that were not completed online. If it is a follow-up appointment, you can arrive no more than 5 minutes early to your appointment.

Please let me know as soon as you can if you are running late. Please be advised that you will still be charged the full cost of the appointment and will not have added time if you are late.

Any appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the appointment.
